The meeting this time around also saw 27 bills passed by the House, including the Medical (Amendment) Bill 2024 and Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Bill 2024.

In his adjournment speech, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul has expressed his gratitude to all parties for their cooperation in ensuring the sitting runs smoothly.

"Meanwhile, three special briefings by different ministries were provided in the Dewan Rakyat, with another two conducted in Special Chambers. This includes an explanation of the concerning share deal of the Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) to Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP).

"For the first time, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) also explained PAC reports earlier today," he said.

Johari, at the same time, also reminded parliamentarians to conduct a health checkup before Nov 11, as instructed yesterday.

"May the checkup help prevent any undesirable occurrences from happening to the MPs."
