Anwar performs Friday prayers at Ibnu Mas'ud Mosque in Kampung Datuk Keramat

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim joined the congregation of Ibnu Mas'ud Mosque in Kampung Datuk Keramat for Friday prayers.

Anwar, who arrived at 1.20pm, was greeted by Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, who is also the Titiwangsa member of Parliament, as well as the mosque management and other congregants.

The Friday prayers were led by the mosque's chief imam Muhammad Khairul Razikin Abdul Razak.

Also present were the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar; Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) director Datuk Mohd Ajib Ismail and Media Prima Group Bhd chairman Datuk Seri Dr Syed Hussian Aljunid.

Earlier, Anwar also took time to have lunch with the residents of Titiwangsa at the Medan Selera Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz.

Presents were the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa and Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh.
