BUTTERWORTH: A 17-year-old girl from Bagan Ajam who has been missing since Thursday has been found safe in Kulim, Kedah.
The girl, Siti Nur Khaireena Zufairi, was reported missing after she failed to return home.
Her stepbrother Mohammad Nurul Asrul Norulfadli said Khaireena was found at around 9am yesterday.
He said he received a call from an acquaintance of the girl who gave him details of her whereabouts.
"My sister is in good condition and thankfully she was found safe," he said when contacted by Harian Metro yesterday.
Previously, it was reported that Khaireena had left home without notifying her family and did not return, prompting them to lodge a missing persons report.
