PENSIANGAN: A block of buildings housing a church, hall, and quarters was destroyed when a fire broke out in Kampung Enam, Nabawan, this morning.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Department operations center officer Assistant Fire Chief Riki Mohan Singh Ramday said a team of firefighters was deployed to the scene after they were alerted to the fire at 9.50am.
"The fire involved a block of buildings housing a church, hall, and semi-permanent quarters, with 80 percent of the structure destroyed," he said, adding the fire was brought under control at 10.50am.
