KOTA TINGGI: A fire broke out at a lorry workshop in Kampung Changi, Telok Ramunia here today, destroying eight motorcycles and a double-storey cabin office.
No casualties were reported in the 12.39pm incident.
State Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Mohd Hairul Mohd Nin said a team deployed to the scene arrived within five minutes after receiving the distress call, as the site was located less than 5km away.
"Upon arrival, the team found that the cabin was already engulfed in flames, and eight motorcycles parked inside were destroyed," he said adding that it took the firefighters less than half an hour to extinguish the fire.
