MUAR: Police have issued a missing person alert for 14-year-old Muhammad Effzaldanish Mohd Effendy, who was reported missing after he left his grandmother's house in Pagoh, here, yesterday.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said the 160cm tall and 50kg teen who is of a slim build, with straight hair and medium brown complexion, was last seen wearing a secondary school uniform – a white shirt and green pants, at 7am yesterday.
Raiz Mukhliz urged those with information on Muhammad Effzaldanish's whereabouts to contact investigating officer Inspector P. Seventy Panner Silvan, at 011-1625 1909, or the Muar District Police Hotline at 06-9564800, or any nearby police station.
The teen who lives with his grandmother at Jalan Kerayong, Rumah Rakyat 1 left for school yesterday, and has been missing since.
The boy is an only child, having lost his mother to breast cancer some three years ago, while his father lives in Tampin, Negri Sembilan.
