KUALA NERUS: The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd's booth was a hit among visitors at the Terengganu-leg of Karnival Jom Heboh as they had the chance to play with and take pictures with various species of animals, including a Burmese python.
NSTP business development and special projects manager Tengku Kaifi Mirza Tuan Cherit said visitors at the three-day carnival will also have the opportunity to take pictures with 26 other animals such as rabbits, exotic chickens, parrots, reticulated pythons, meerkats, and Pacman frogs.
Photos taken with these animals, said Tengku Kaifi Mirza, will be captured by a photographer and uploaded to https://klikphotoevents.photohawk.com.
"Visitors can obtain the photos taken with these animals from the provided link or by scanning the QR code at the NSTP booth.
"So far, the response from visitors, especially for taking pictures with these animals, has been very encouraging," he said.
Tengku Kaifi Mirza added that visitors can also get three NSTP newspaper titles – New Straits Times, Berita Harian, and Harian Metro – for free at the booth.
"Visitors to KJH should not miss the opportunity to bring their families and friends to the NSTP booth to experience all the fun activities here," he said.
The Terengganu-leg of KJH, which is being held at the Terengganu Sports Complex here, offers various activities and entertainment for the whole family.
Visitors will be able to check out the Studio Tonton Drama Sangat, Studio Jom Heboh, NSTP booth, Hot FM, and Kool 101 booths at the venue until Aug 3.
This year, KJH has already been held in Sarawak, Putrajaya, and Melaka, attracting more than 300,000 visitors at each location.
