KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reportedly received a clean bill of health after a routine medical checkup.
According to a press statement from the Selangor State Health Department, Anwar underwent the checkup at Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang.
"The results of the checkup show that the Prime Minister's health is good and optimal," the statement reads.
On Saturday, Anwar celebrated his 77th birthday and the Prime Minister's Officer released a three minute heartwarming video of cabinet ministers sending their well wishes.
