"God willing, in the future, we will prepare a new framework to improve the country's sports performance," Anwar said after launching the Malaysian Commercialisation Year Summit 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre today.
He told Malaysians to move forward and not to be hasty with the national athlete's performance during the Olympics as they have tried their best with years of sacrifices.
The Paris 2024 Olympics came to a close yesterday, with the United States emerging as the overall champion, winning 40 gold medals.
Malaysia managed to bring home two bronze medals through the country's badminton athletes—men's singles player Lee Zii Jia and the men's doubles pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik.
