KUANTAN: The royal wedding of Tengku Puteri Raja, Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafidzatullah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Fd Idzham Fd Iskandar will be held for three days at Istana Abdulaziz here starting tomorrow.
Comptroller of Istana Pahang, Major-General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya, in a statement today, said the three-day ceremony will be held on Aug 22, 23 and 25.
He said the akad nikah ceremony will be held on Aug 22 while the istiadat berinai for the royal couple will be held the following day.
"The istiadat bersanding be held on Aug 25," he said in a statement.
Zahari said all the ceremonies will be broadcast live through two giant screens for the public at Tasek Kotasas and Kuantan City Council Field 1.
He said several events have been lined up in conjunction with the royal wedding at both the locations.
Yesterday, Al-Sultan Abdullah in his decree during the opening of the Al-Falah mosque and doa selamat ceremony in conjunction with the royal wedding prayed for his daughter's marriage to be blessed and proceed smoothly.
Meanwhile, Pasar Sera on its website wrote they are honoured to be part of the royal wedding's live telecast event at the Kuantan City Council Field 1 and invited the public to gather to celebrate the grand occasion.
