JOHOR BARU: A 22-year-old man miraculously escaped injuries after his car plunged into a three-metre-deep storm drain on Jalan Dato Onn 1, early yesterday morning.
Johor Baru (south) police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat said the victim was unscathed after he lost control of his car and veered off the road, before plunging into the storm drain at 2am.
He then made his way out of the vehicle and waited for the authorities.
Raub said as a precautionary measure, the man who seemed slightly traumatised by the incident was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
