KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim met with Indonesian president-elect Prabowo Subianto during the latter's visit to Malaysia today.
Anwar said the two, during the meeting, discussed several matters of interest involving Malaysia and Indonesia.
"We talked about few matters of mutual interest, most importantly our commitment to strengthen the bilateral relationships between two brotherly countries.
"We also emphasised our commitment to guarantee and strengthen Asean regional cooperation," Anwar said in his official Facebook page.
Anwar said he was also honoured to receive the invitation to attend the presidential's inauguration ceremony to be held on October 20 in Jakarta.
