PASIR MAS: Former Umno information chief Tan Sri Hussein Ahmad died at his home in Kampung Lemal here today.
He was 90.
His children and family members were at his side when he died about 7am.
His remains would be buried at a village cemetery after Friday prayers.
The veteran Umno leader had been suffering from Parkinson disease for many years.
He was among the longest-serving Umno information chiefs, holding the position for 14 years from 1982, and was also a former Kelantan deputy menteri besar from 1978 to 1982.
