KUALA LUMPUR: Peninsular Malaysia is expected to experience continuous rainfall next week from Sunday till Thursday, according to the Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
In a statement issued today, the department indicated that affected areas include the states of Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak.
It specifically said that the areas expected to experience heavy rainfall are Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama in Hulu Perak, besides Kuala Kangsar.
The department also said that the rain and thunderstorms are expected to persist for more than six hours in certain areas.
