GISB: Please pray for us, let justice prevail

KUALA LUMPUR: "We ask for your prayers during this difficult time and for justice to prevail," said Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings (GISBH) after the arrest of its top leaders, including the chairman and CEO.

"Please be informed that the chairman, CEO, and several leaders of GISBH are currently detained by authorities relating to an issue involving the company," the group said on its Facebook page.

They asked the public to "respect the authorities" and called for calm and support during this "uncertain period", hoping for a swift and just resolution.

"May we all receive the mercy and blessings of Allah," the post ended.

The arrests followed a police raid on a Bukit Bintang complex yesterday, where 19 people, including the CEO's two children, were detained.
