Monash University's specialised diploma offers fast track to business degree

SECONDARY school leavers looking to pursue a career in business now have a faster route into the industry.

Monash University Malaysia's new Diploma of Business programme will commence in 2025 at its Bandar Sunway campus.

The two-year diploma offers a streamlined pathway into the university's well-regarded Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree programme, allowing students to save time and tuition fees.

SPECIALISED LEARNING FROM THE START

The new programme was crafted with a focus on key business knowledge and practical expertise in mind.

Unlike traditional courses that often prioritise rote memorisation across more generalised subjects, students will hone in directly on the necessary skills and up-to-date knowledge used by today's industry specialists.

Upon successful completion, diploma holders will be able to progress directly to the second year of the business undergraduate programme, enabling them to earn both a diploma and degree from Monash University in four years.

REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE

The Diploma of Business features in-semester assessments with realistic everyday applications.

This approach ensures that students are equipped with skills to execute their knowledge of business theories as soon as they enter the workforce, making them highly employable and marketable.

Diploma students who successfully progress to and graduate from the degree programme will end up receiving a dual certification consisting of a Diploma of Business as well as a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University.

Prospective students eager to become entrepreneurs and commerce specialists are encouraged to register for the programme, with registrations for the 2025 intake now open.
