KUALA LUMPUR: The federal and Sarawak governments will jointly develop a cancer centre in the country's largest state, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced today.
Anwar who tabled the 2025 Budget (Belanjawan 2025) in the Dewan Rakyat said the Sarawak Cancer Centre will cost RM1 billion.
He said the government will also expand the Tawau Airport in Sabah and the Miri Airport in Sarawak at a cost of RM253 million.
Meanwhile, Anwar said four work packages for the Sabah Sarawak Link-Road (SSLR) Phase 2, valued at RM7.4 billion, have been finalised.
