KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, displayed his culinary skills today by preparing a Japanese beef curry.
In a Facebook posting, the King is seen crafting the dish, which featured a combination of Japanese spices and traditional ingredients with a local touch.
"In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere on Oct 26, His Majesty demonstrated his culinary skills while interacting with the palace staff, who observed the preparation of the flavourful dish.
"After completing the cooking session, His Majesty enjoyed the curry dish during a tea gathering with his staff," read the posting.
According to the post, cooking has always been one of His Majesty's favourite hobbies as he is also well-versed in preparing a variety of dishes.
