KUALA LUMPUR: The authorities have again raided the "Mini Dhaka" along Jalan Silang, confiscating goods from illegal street vendors.
In a Facebook post, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said it conducted three raids along Jalan Silang at different times.
A total of 22 items were confiscated under DBKL's licensing by-laws. The items were taken to its depot in Cheras.
The items seized include food items and baskets used by the foreign traders.
DBKL said it will continue monitoring and enforcement efforts in the area.
On Jan 5, DBKL raided the area in an operation targeting businesses owned and run by foreigners.
Separately, DBKL said it has taken action against unlicensed foreign traders in Medan Idaman, Gombak and seized nine items.
