TikTok Shop's 11.11 livestream attracts 80,000 orders

TIKTOK Shop's 11.11 Mega LIVE Showdown, a four-hour livestream held on Nov 10, captivated over five million Malaysian viewers and generated approximately 80,000 livestream orders.

The event, streamed live on @tiktokshop_my and TV3 from 7pm to 11pm, featured a star-studded lineup of local creators and brands, including social media influencers @khairulaming, @yang, @neelofa, @sallywhoo, @dearcarynn, and @tulippetals.

The livestream attracted significant support from TikTok Shop's community, with brands such as Maybank, Bulan Bintang, Oatside, Hausboom, Maggi, Munchy's, Elianto and 888 Tea & Coffee contributing to the event's success.

During the event, viewers were treated to a unique shoppertainment experience, where entertainment and shopping converged. Lucky viewers walked away with prizes including a Myvi, Honda ADV 160, Honda Wave and more.

TikTok Shop Malaysia marketing communication lead Nur Aisya Rosly highlighted a dedicated segment during the livestream show, #JomLokal, which featured homegrown products.

"It is thrilling to see Malaysian-made brands, the likes of Dapur Pak Amir, Shiffa Curry Powder, and Empat Beranak, shine on stage in front of the thousands of viewers physically present in the stadium and millions of viewers on TikTok Shop's livestream and TV3 broadcast," she said.

TikTok's 11.11 Mega Sale continued all the way through Nov 11, giving Malaysians access to free shipping, platform discounts and seller discount vouchers.

Certain Harga Hangat deals featured up to 80 per cent off renowned brands like Sony, Farm Fresh, Skintific, GB Gold and more.
