KUALA LUMPUR: Federal Police Management Department director Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim will be the next Federal Internal Security and Public Order Department director.
He is among 21 top cops who are part of a reshuffle that will be effective from Dec 16.
Federal police secretary Datuk Kamaruzaman Abdullah said: "Federal Management Department principal assistant director (training, examinations/competency) Datuk Mohd Marzuki Mohd Mokhtar will be promoted to deputy commissioner as he takes over as Federal Management Department deputy director (training).
"Federal Narcotic Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director (enforcement, prevention, general policing) Senior Assistant Commissioner Mat Zani @ Mohd Salahuddin Che Ali will be promoted to deputy commissioner as he takes over as Federal NCID deputy director (intelligence, operations)," he said on Monday.
He said Federal Internal Security and Public Order Department Air Wing Unit engineering inspectorate chief Assistant Commissioner Che Bokhari Mohamad will be promoted to senior assistant commissioner as he takes over as the unit's deputy commander (engineering).
"Air Wing Unit flight operations chief Assistant Commissioner Zaman Shah Omar will be promoted to senior assistant commissioner at the Federal Internal Security and Public Order Department's Operations Division.
"Federal Internal Security and Public Order Department marine police deputy commander (general policing, strategy, investigation) Assistant Commissioner Shamsol Kassim will be promoted to senior assistant commissioner as he takes over as marine police commander."
Kamaruzaman said Bukit Aman Special Branch E3A1 staff officer Assistant Commissioner Goh Saw Khim will be promoted to senior assistant commissioner as he takes over as Special Branch E9 assistant director.
