PM Anwar donates Quran copy with English, Korean translations to Muslim community in South Korea

SEOUL: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has presented Al-Quran with English and Korean translations for the Muslim community in the republic.

The handover took place during a 30-minute meeting with Korea Muslim Federation (KMF) president Hussein Kim Dong Eok.

KMF is an official body recognised as the umbrella organisation representing the Muslim community in South Korea.

On the final day of his visit to South Korea today, Anwar is scheduled to deliver a special public lecture titled "Strategic Partners in a Complex World: Malaysia, Korea, and the Future of Asia" at Seoul National University (SNU), one of the top local universities in the republic, at around 3pm.

Guests, including Malaysian students, local and international students, university senior management, academics, researchers, and scholars, are expected to attend the lecture.

Anwar concluded his three-day official visit to South Korea today following an invitation from President Yoon Suk Yeol.
