Masidi Manjun gives statement to MACC amid edited video claims

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun has voluntarily given his statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) regarding a viral video that emerged earlier today.

He said that his visit to the MACC office in Kota Kinabalu at 8pm was a proactive effort to assist with the investigation, despite not being formally summoned.

"As I have previously stated, I will fully cooperate with the authorities in investigating this matter.

"My visit tonight reflects my commitment to aiding the investigation and supporting the MACC's initiatives to combat corruption in this state."

Earlier, Masidi claimed that the video implicating his involvement in bribery was edited.
