BANGI: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reminded the public the importance of tradition of knowledge in elevating the dignity of the community.
He said he believed the adaptation of such tradition has weakened especially among the youths in the country.
"And I believe that to elevate the dignity of the people in this Madani country, the foundation remains the same, and training the people, whether in digitalisation or AI, demands and challenges us to equip ourselves with the foundational framework.
"(It) gives a meaning through the strength and basis of knowledge founding and studying (literature) masterpieces," he said in his speech after launching 'Amanah Dakwah' written by Dr Razali Nawawi and 'Mohammad Natsir: Ilmuwan Ulung Alam Melayu Abad ke 20' by Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Dr M. Kamal Hassan.
Anwar said the youth must give meaning to the 'Adabani Rabbi Fa'asanta' concept, which emphasises the embodiment of virtuous mannerisms and values integrated with the strength of knowledge, reading, and critical examination.
