POKOK SENA: The rehabilitation module for Global Ikhwan Services and Business (GISB) Holdings Sdn Bhd followers has been completed, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar.
He said a committee chaired by Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council member Ahmad Fauwaz Fadzil was finalising a module for the organisation's senior leaders.
"I understand that the research has been completed, but the report has not been submitted yet.
"I was informed that modules for adults and children involved with GISB have been finalised.
"The committee is preparing a module for the top leaders of GISB who have been detained. This is in progress.
"Once everything is complete, we will seek the home minister's approval for the committee to meet, discuss and present the completed modules for the detained GISB leaders."
He said this after a flood relief programme at Maahad Tarbiah Islamiah Derang here today.
On Oct 10, Na'im said seven rehabilitation modules for GISB followers were being developed by the committee.
He said the committee was preparing an 'akidah' rehabilitation module for children.
On Nov 14, the National Council of Islamic Religious Affairs declared GISB Holdings deviant.
