JOHOR BARU: A 48-year-old van driver reversed into a vehicle and suffered a fatal heart attack at Jalan Nakhoda 1, Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Skudai, here, today.
Johor Baru (North) police chief Assistant Commissioner Balveer Singh said the victim was reversing his van when he crashed into a car driven by a 43-year-old woman.
"Although the car driver was unharmed, the van driver collapsed and was later confirmed dead at the scene by paramedics," he said in a statement today.
A preliminary investigation revealed that he suffered a heart attack, believed to have been triggered by the stress of the accident.
