Retired teacher wins over RM6.7 million jackpot

KUALA LUMPUR: A retired teacher from Kuala Lumpur has won over RM6.7 million after betting on his late father's car number plate and their old house number.

According to a statement by Da Ma Cai, multiple Da Ma Cai Jackpot and Bonus prizes were won across various locations on Dec 29, with a combined total of RM9.04 million in winnings.

The retired teacher, who claimed the 1+3D Jackpot 1 prize of RM6,777,807, shared his plans to renovate his family home and establish a fund for underprivileged students.

"As an educator, I believe education creates opportunities that shape individuals and enhance the community's wellbeing.

"Every child deserves access to quality education, and I'm committed to supporting this cause," the retired teacher said.

Another 1+3D Jackpot winner from Puchong revealed that their winning combination of numbers was based on their children's birthdays and their zodiac sign, which led to her taking home the 3+3D Bonus 1st Prize of RM1,071,146.

Meanwhile, a family business owner from Lukut, Port Dickson, credited their winning numbers to a vivid dream about the sea and a series of numbers appearing in the sky. The business owner won a 3D Jackpot of RM871,506.

"With Chinese New Year approaching, I plan to use the winnings for a long-awaited family vacation," the business owner shared with a smile.
