KUALA LUMPUR: Students Parliament is a stage for bright and promising tertiary education students to showcase their knowledge and skills to become the country's future leaders.
One such student from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) caught the eye of the netizens for his style and tone in articulating his ideas, which had an uncanny resemblance to Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli.
Student Muhammad Luqman Hafiz Md Hanif was praised for his suave, similar to the Federal minister when debating on student gig economy action plan at the recent parliament session.
The video he posted on his TikTok account went viral and garnered over 300,000 views and counting.
A TikTok user with the handle aliffyou2 said the intonation and pronunciation of his words were the same as Rafizi's.
"Voice similar to YB Rafizi, the speaking style is also almost the same," said another user with the handle @star.
One user, @shaun, asked Luqman to share some tips to talk confidently.
In response, Luqman said it all boiled down to the practice of clearly articulating word to word in English and Bahasa Melayu.
"Be prepared in terms of content wise, understand the content intended to be shared," said the Sungai Petani-born student.
