KUALA LUMPUR: Netizens are up in arms after a woman in an emergency situation was forced to use an e-hailing service to go to the hospital after a double-parked vehicle had blocked her car.
In a TikTok post by @Alepdepay, the woman was seen pacing back and forth, waiting for the owner of the vehicle blocking her car.
However, her wait was in vain as the individual did not show up to move his or her car, despite being called many times.
Feeling disappointed, the woman left a sarcasm-filled note on the mirror of the black Honda City that was obstructing her car.
"Thank you. I have an emergency at the hospital, your black Honda car is the reason I can't go anywhere.
"Thank you for leaving your phone number but I called 80 times and you didn't answer. Thank you, you're the best," the woman wrote.
Meanwhile, the user who shared the incident explained that the woman eventually had to use an e-hailing service to get to the hospital.
"(I) feel sorry for the woman, having to take an e-hailing service to the hospital. Not only that, she'll have to pay extra parking because of people like this who lack intelligence.
"Stay strong sister, may all your affairs be facilitated," he wrote in the caption section.
The post, which has been viewed more than 1.5 million times, left netizens fuming about the selfish act.
User @Noorul said: "Common sense and manners are hard to come by these days."
"What is more annoying is that after waiting for hours, the owner would come with a poker face without saying sorry," @ainnsyzwanie_ commented.
Another user, @magrib_lover666 also expressed his anger: "Stupid people will evolve as time goes, they won't go extinct like the dinosaurs, we have to make peace with them,"
