KUALA LUMPUR: Residents of Kampung Padang in Sungai Lembing, Pahang banded together to capture a massive 50kg python that had entered a home.
A TikTok video posted by @anasnazhar shows a tense moment as a man uses a wooden stick to pry the large snake from its hiding place in the house. Another man rushes in to assist the first man.
The two of them struggle to lift the hefty serpent through the living room in the house, but their determination pays off as they finally carried it outside the house.
There, a third man joined the effort, holding a large sack to help secure the snake and ensure its safe removal.
The caption reveals that before the snake had devoured a cat before it was captured.
The video garnered 27,200 views as netizens shared their thoughts in the comments regarding the nerve-wracking incident.
User @fuziahab praised the men's bravery, noting that the firefighters might have come "too late." The video owner clarified that they didn't even call the firefighters since they were able to bring the snake out of the house.
Meanwhile, @hatitenang29 questioned: "It's so big, how did you know the snake was there?"
