#NSTviral: Video of 'grateful' delivery man going viral again after untimely death [WATCH]

SHAH ALAM: Ahmad Farhan Othman, the p-hailing delivery driver who was featured in a viral video last year in which an influencer randomly gave RM50 to people at a shopping mall and recorded their reaction, has died on Oct 2 at the age of 32.

Farhan's video went viral in October last year. The video is now going viral again as news of his death spreads in the Internet.

In the video, he initially looked confused at the gesture, but in the end, showed his utmost appreciation by thanking the influencer for the token sum. His reaction warmed the hearts of netizens, gaining 2.8 million views, 124,000 likes and 3,154 shares.

Farhan's wife, Nursuziliana Mohd Johari, 32, expressed her shock at her husband's sudden death, revealing he had no known health issues and had likely died of overwork.

She said he recently complained of tiredness and the burden of making ends meet.

According to Sinar Harian, Nursuziliana, a housewife, said Farhan had just begun a new job as a van driver in September, but he continued his p-hailing work to support their family. (https://www.sinarharian.com.my/article/691224/berita/semasa/suami-selalu...)

"He often woke up at 7.30am to get the kids ready before starting his p-hailing deliveries up to 10am.

"After that, he worked as a van driver, transporting heavy goods until 5pm, then continued with p-hailing work again until 8pm," she said.

"The doctor revealed that during the post-mortem, they found 75 per cent of Farhan's heart was blocked," she said.

Nursuziliana remembered her husband as a hardworking, responsible and beloved figure in the community, expressing surprise that the old video had gone viral again, which was most likely shared by friends who missed him.

Fighting back tears, she recalled her husband's heartfelt advice to their children to look after each other. She said Farhan was especially close with their second child, who shared his resemblance.

"I'm heartbroken by his sudden passing and still can't believe it, as he was so young; now, it's just me raising the children," she said.
