In a TikTok video shared by user @ahmad26_6, the user and fellow villagers wade through their flooded village when they spot a distressed cat clinging to a window to avoid drowning, gazing pleadingly at them with eyes filled with both fear and hope.
As one man reaches out to rescue the animal, the video ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers in suspense about the cat's fate as it seems there's not enough space to free it."
In a follow-up update titled 'Part 2', the user reveals that while the cat is now safe, it remains trapped inside the home from which it was trying to escape.
The video has attracted nearly nine million views and over 697,000 likes, as people come together to express their concern for animals during the flood season.
