Wong Chen sweeps Subang parliamentary seat with 92,353 majority

SUBANG: PKR candidate Wong Chen has won the P104 Subang parliamentary seat with a comfortable 92,353 majority.

Wong won over 104,430 votes compared BN candidate Tan Seong Lim who received 12,077 votes.

Other candidates including Pas’ Shahir Adnan had 9,025 votes while Independent’s Toh Sin Wah received 173 votes.

Subang Jaya Municipal Council president Noraini Roslan announced the results at 1.30am on Thursday (May 10) after waiting for the final ballot boxes from polling centre SK Puchong Perdana to arrive.

The last 12 ballot boxes only arrived at 3K Complex to be counted at 12.20am.

Meanwhile, the state seats for N30 Kinrara was also won by PKR’s Ng Sze Han with majority of 45,212 at 52,207 votes followed by BN’s Chew Kai Heng (6,995) and Pas’ Datuk Johnathan Lim Ying Ran (3,732).

N31 Subang Jaya was won by PKR’s Michelle Ng Mei Sze with a majority of 48,272 (55,354 votes) followed by BN’s Major Chong Ah Watt (7,082) and Independent’s Toh Sin Wah (228).
