KUALA LUMPUR: His intentions appeared to be genuine, that of a fatherly figure imparting advise on the importance of not fighting in public.
Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin however opted to dish out his words of wisdom on Twitter, and made the blunder of tagging the wrong account.
"My dear @khairiKJ_ @LokmanAdam I know we hv the freedom of speech, but pls stop comdemning each other openly in the public. We must focus on our goals (sic)," Bung Moktar posted earlier today.
While it appears that his tweet was directed to Khairy Jamaluddin and Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam, he mentioned the wrong twitter handle for the Rembau MP.
The other KJ who probably is not a politician and definitely did not wake up this morning expecting to receive advise on how it is not good to argue publicly with Lokman, sent Bung Moktar a brief reply.
"Please mention the right person," Khairi said.
What is interesting to note is that, as at press time, Bung Moktar's original tweet garnered a mere 63 Retweets.
In comparison, the reply from the other KJ, has been retweeted close to 600 times.
The Khairy involved in a spat with Lokman, who is also former Youth and Sports Minister and tweets under @Khairykj, has yet to respond to Bung Moktar's tweet.
Lokman too has not said anything on the matter.
