KUALA LUMPUR: After four days, former PKR vice president Nurul Izzah has finally offered her reaction on Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa's open letter for her.
Responding to a news article by NST this morning in which Dr Mujahid said it was an honest letter written from a senior to a junior, Nurul Izzah remarked while the intentions were good, she found the letter "inappropriate and condescending".
"Good intentions notwithstanding, I have actually informed Dato the public letter was inappropriate and condescending. Best we all focus on real issues," Nurul Izzah.
Mujahid who is minister in the prime minister's department had posted an open letter to Nurul Izzah on Dec 25, written in classical Malay, with the pronouns 'kekanda-adinda' replacing the normal 'you and I'.
This morning in Penang, Dr Mujahid told reporters that the letter was written in classical Malay as he appreciated and was interested in its literary value.
When asked if Nurul Izzah had responded to the open letter, he said that it was a secret and would not make it known.
