Muhyiddin fires salvo at Najib as Johor state election looms

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin continues to lambast Datuk Seri Najib Razak, this time criticising the latter's response on the RM42 million SRC international Sdn Bhd scandal.

The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president alleged that among others, Najib had used the money for self-enrichment.

In a Facebook post today, Muhyiddin listed out facts presented in court on the usage of the money, which included payments made for the Pekan member of parliament's two credit cards worth over RM3.2 million, payments for political intelligence and promotions, and home renovations and repair works.

"Millions of ringgit more have been used for personal and political use.

"Yes, there have been money spent for orphans. But the total is not as much as (what has been spent) for political and personal use," he claimed.

Muhyiddin said this did not include the RM4 billion Retirement Fund Incorporated (KWAP) loaned to SRC which had "disappeared into thin air".

He added that the government had to pay back SRC's debt to KWAP because it had been guaranteed by the government when Najib was prime minister and finance minister.

He also said Najib was found guilty in both the High Court and Appeals court in the SRC case.

"This is Najib's CSR - Crook's Self en-Richment! Donation to himself.

"Najib had repeatedly accused me of treason. But not one court has convicted me of being guilty.

"He also asked me, how much money have I spent for the people? While I was prime minister, I prepared RM530 billion in aid and economic packages for the people. Not one sen goes into my account.

"This is unlike him, where billions goes into his own account. That's him, your boss," Muhyiddin added, in reference, to Najib's popular "bossku" nickname among his supporters.
