SEREMBAN: DAP will announce its list of candidates for the 15th General Election (GE15) in each state in stages starting next week, its secretary-general Anthony Loke said.
"We have yet to finalise the candidates. The states have sent their recommendations. We will discuss and finalise them," he said after launching the Seremban election machinery here today.
Loke, who is also incumbent Seremban member of parliament, was optimistic that he could defend the seat as he had more than 18 years of experience serving the constituency.
"I have served Seremban for two terms and before that Lobak, as an assemblyman, also for two terms. Hence, I have 18 years of political experience in Seremban," he said.
Loke won the Seremban seat with a majority of 30,694 votes in the 14th General Election. - Bernama
