GEORGE TOWN: Bayan Baru member of parliament Sim Tze Tzin wants voters to come out to vote.
Taking to Facebook, Sim posted a photo of an elderly woman on a stretcher.
His caption read: "Old aunty, sick. Still come out to vote although on a hospital bed.
"She is voting for the sake of her children and grandchildren.
"Have you voted? Let's vote," he said.
Sim said the elderly woman is a voter in the Batu Uban state seat.
The Batu Uban seat sees a three-cornered fight between Pakatan Harapan's A. Kumaresan, Perikatan Nasional's Mok Kok On and Muda's Lee Kim Noor.
As of 11am, only 29 per cent of voters in Penang have voted.
