KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has arrived for the state election results viewing at World Trade Centre here tonight.
Prior to that, Deputy Prime Minister and Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan were seen in the building.
Others who arrived earlier included Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) and Umno information chief Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah, Supreme council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan and DAP vice-chairman Nga Kor Ming
Also present were BN's Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin, Unity Government Secretariat head Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki and Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, PH communication director Fahmi Fadzil and Melaka Umno chief Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh.
A total of 245 candidates were fielded by the PH-BN pact in the state elections in Kedah, Penang, Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan.
