Nenggiri by-election: BN, PN candidates cross paths at polling centre [WATCH]

GUA MUSANG: The last time Barisan Nasional candidate Mohd Azmawi Fikir Abdul Ghani crossed paths with his opponent Rizwadi Ismail was when they filed their nomination papers to contest in the Nenggiri by-election on Aug 2.

Since then, Azmawi and Rizwadi of Perikatan Nasional have been busy with their respective campaigns, seeking to win the support of the people before the polling day today.

After two weeks of campaigning, Azmawi and Rizwadi bumped into each other when they cast their ballots at the Tabika Sri Bakawali polling centre in Bertam Lama this morning.

Accompanied by his wife Nur Kamilah Mat Zain, 37, Azmawi arrived at polling centre at 8.30am.

Rizwadi, accompanied by his wife Che Mariam Che Noh, arrived at the polling center about 10 minutes later.

The two were seen shaking hands, hugging each other, and exchanging pleasantries before leaving the area.

Azmawi and Rizwadi are in a straight fight in the by-election.\
