GUA MUSANG: Barisan Nasional is leading the Nenggiri by-election with a 1,599 votes majority from 16 of 48 ballot boxes.
The official results were taken from the Election Commission's chart displayed at Dewan Perdana, the vote-tallying centre as of 8pm.
The official results showed that BN's candidate Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani was leading Perikatan Nasional's Rizwadi Ismail from the 16 ballot boxes.
It is learnt that BN is leading PN in several areas including the Orang Asli settlements in the remote areas.
Returning Officer Nik Raisnan Daud is expected to announce the results soon.
