PENAMPANG: Sabah Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Ewon Benedick said today he prioritises leadership over position.
Ewon said this when asked to comment on remarks by Sabah leaders regarding his appointment as state PH chairman.
"Many party leaders have given their opinions, and I do not wish to comment further.
"I want to move on and carry out the mandate entrusted to me as best as I can.
"If there are those who are dissatisfied, the two-year term can be reviewed during the next election, which is the appropriate time to evaluate my leadership."

Present were state DAP chairman and state Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe, Penampang Upko chief Datuk Donal Peter Mojuntin, and other state PH and local leaders.
