Double parking pain for motorists

Two problems that afflict many townships are double parking and haphazard parking.

Double parking in front of banks and eateries during peak periods is common. The proximity of banks to car repair shops has contributed to double parking a car owner spends 152 hours a year looking for parking.

Malaysia had the third highest rate of car ownership in the world, said market research agency Nielsen in 2014.

It’ll take more than a short-term solution to resolve this problem.

However, we are grateful to the authorities for alleviating parking problems. We are most thankful to them for having 30 parking lots in Puchong Jaya to cater to the morning market crowd.
