Malaysian govt should reject Trump conspiracy

LETTERS: WE express our total rejection of United States President Donald Trump’s conspiracy with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu for the so-called two-state peace plan announced yesterday.

There seems to be nothing unexpected from the plan, which is not a deal but a conspiracy mapped by Israel and announced by Trump.

We condemn the utterly wicked plan that is paving the way for ethnic cleansing and genocide of Palestinians. The move to annex the Jordan Valley is a blatant provocation to start a war in the region.

Top White House adviser Jared Kushner’s statement that this is the best chance for Palestinians is absurd and evil. He has the audacity to say that this is a reality and that the plan is the only way to resolve the conflict.

The reality is that it is a cruel and brutal treatment against the Palestinians’ right of existence.

The plan is a direct contradiction with every international law and dozens of resolutions passed in the United Nations. The UN must declare the outright illegality of this plan.

Muslims worldwide must rise and declare their solidarity with Palestinians and cut off all relations, direct or indirect, with Israel.

The so-called “deal of the century” will trigger a greater wave of resistance and escalation of Palestinian struggle in response to restore their rightful claim over their occupied land.

There must be no compromise on the freedom of Palestine and the Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Palestine.

We call on the Malaysian government to reject the plan.

The Organisation of Islamic
Cooperation (OIC) must also
convene immediately to declare its response to the plan.
