IF you are single and have a monthly income of less than RM10,000, or married with a combined household income of no more than RM15,000, you can afford a property at Suria Pantai.
Suria Pantai is part of the master development known as Pantai Sentral Park in Pantai Dalam, Kuala Lumpur. It is a joint development by IJM Land Bhd and Amona Group.
The companies are developing Suria Pantai — a Federal Territories Affordable Houses (Rumawip) project — to cater to the need for more affordable mass-market houses.
The 34-storey Suria Pantai tower comprises 896 units, priced at RM275,000 each.
IJM Land senior general manager (central region) Datuk Hoo Kim See said when the city is brimming with opportunities and commercial hubs, living comes with a hefty price tag — one most young adults cannot afford.
“We support the government’s efforts to make houses more affordable for Malaysians, especially the younger generation. Suria Pantai is located in the New Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur, positioned accessibly within reach of amenities as well as paths of connectivity.
“Considering its prime location, where surrounding properties are priced at the millions, this development is a true value for money option that should not be missed,” he said in a statement.
Suria Pantai is low-density and offers sufficient built-up space of 810 sq ft. It features facilities like a swimming pool, a playground, and a multipurpose hall for work and play.
Additionally, it is gated with a security service to ensure the safety of its dwellers.
Hoo said the three-bedroom and two-bathroom layout is functional as it meets the needs of all house buyers, be it single working professionals, married couples, or families.
He said Suria Pantai will benefit significantly from the upcoming Pantai Sentral Park Interchange, set to be completed by the fourth quarter of this year.
The interchange will link house owners to major hotspots in neighbouring areas in cluding Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Bangsar, Cheras, Subang and Sunway.
Another major highlight is Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi, a 80.93ha forest reserve that lies at the edge of the development.
“Bukit Kerinchi is the perfect getaway from the city and an entrance into a different world. Even residents who are not nature enthusiasts would find peace and tranquillity amid the verdant views and lush greeneries that the forest reserve has to offer,” said Hoo.
