Sime Darby Property Berhad has received RM328.6 million in bookings for its industrial properties in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan.
The developer recently launched The Twin Factories 2 in Elmina Business Park and Hamilton Industrial Park 1 in Nilai.
According to Datuk Azmir Merican, the company's group managing director, 22 units at the Twin Factories 2 and 42 units at the Hamilton Industrial Park 1 have been taken up.
Twin Factories 2 has an elegant brick façade and modern, clean lines, with a built-up area of 6,500 square feet and a lot size of 70' x 160'.
The semi-detached factories are priced from RM4 million.
The Hamilton Industrial Park 1 offers freehold industrial lots with land sizes ranging from one to nine acres, with prices of RM3 million.
"The response to our industrial products launched this year has been encouraging," he said, citing take-up rates of more than 90 per cent for the three most recent launches.
Sime Darby Property, according to Azmir, will continue to identify suitable locations for developing industrial product options within its townships, which offer convenient access to major expressways and logistics hubs to expand its industrial and logistics segment.
The Twin Factories 2 meets the needs of business owners by providing three-in-one functionality in the form of a reception area, an expandable office, and ample, unobstructed warehouse space ideal for logistics warehousing and production facilities.
The factories are well-designed with front-loading access, a motorised roller shutter, three-way access for easy circulation of goods, ample parking spaces for trucks and passenger vehicles, and a 100-meter-wide road reserve for easy maneuvering of heavy vehicles, according to Azmir.
