Naza TTDI has completed Met 1 Residences (MET 1), reiterating its commitment to accelerating the development of KL Metropolis, a 75.5-acre integrated community hub that is expected to be a sought-after address in Kuala Lumpur for the next generation.
The developer has been consistent in delivering its projects, including Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, TTDI Alam Impian, Stadium Malawati, Masjid Al Ikhlas, TTDI Jaya, and TTDI Grove.
Naza TTDI has six new development launches planned for the year 2024, according to its chief executive officer, Daniel Lim.
On MET 1, Lim said the project will be delivered later this year.
The 55-story building is part of the RM1.37 billion MET 1 integrated development in KL Metropolis.
Also part of the MET 1 development is an office tower, Somerset serviced apartments, and three levels of the retail mall.
"We have reached the final floor of MET 1, that is Level 55 even after the two years of the pandemic. Our near completion during those difficult times only shows that Naza TTDI is committed to the project and proceed to its full completion," he said.
Naza TTDI held the topping-out ceremony for MET 1 today.
MET 1 offers a magnificent panoramic view of the KL city skyline, catering to the elegant and affluent lifestyle in KL Metropolis.
Public, resident, and service vehicles are separated by multi-level internal roads, ensuring MET 1 residents' privacy and security.
MET 1 offers four standard layouts with built-up areas ranging from 677 to 1,613 square feet.
Depending on the built-up area, each unit has a floor plan that resembles either semi-detached or a bungalow layout, providing comfortable space and innovative design.
Lim said that KL Metropolis supports NAZA Group's efforts to promote the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) philosophy in its operations.
The ESG approach necessitates a strong dedication to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and good governance, as well as a desire to be a leader in the industry and beyond.
"It is all about sustainability where facilities must be environmentally-friendly, ensuring the wellbeing of the local communities while addressing the design needs arising from the pandemic," Lim said.
KL Metropolis' development is also consistent with Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11), one of 17 goals that comprise the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
SDG 11 seeks to renew and plan cities and other human settlements in such a way that they provide opportunities for all, including access to basic services, energy, housing, transportation, and green public spaces while reducing resource use and environmental impact.
