Jun Hao slays world No. 3 Jonatan at Indonesia Open

KUALA LUMPUR: There is simply no stopping Leong Jun Hao and his giant killing spree.

On Wednesday, the former Asian junior champion pulled off his biggest career win when he stunned world No. 3 and All England champion Jonatan Christie 21-13, 16-21, 21-12 in the opening round of the Indonesia Open.

The huge upset comes just one week after Jun Hao defeated world No. 9 Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia in the second round of the Singapore Open.

Jun Hao, who moved four rungs up to No. 32 in the world will play the winner of the match between Taiwan's Chou Tien Chen and Lin Chun Yi in the second round.
