KUALA LUMPUR: As expected, world No. 7 Lee Zii Jia kicked off his Paris Olympics campaign with a straightforward win over unheralded Sri Lanka's Viren Nettasinghe in Group G on Sunday.
Zii Jia was barely challenged as he wrapped up his 21-14, 21-12 win against his world No. 70 opponent in just 35 minutes.
Zii Jia will have plenty of rest before his final group match against Pablo Abian on Wednesday.
