KUALA LUMPUR: National mixed doubles Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei advanced to the quarter-finals of the Korea Open today with a 21-16, 21-19 win over Taiwan's Liu Kuang Heng-Jheng Yu Chieh.
The Malaysian duo won in 34 minutes at the Mokpo Indoor Stadium in Seoul.
Tang Jie- Ee Wei will meet compatriots Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai next for a place in the Korea Open semi-finals.
